More about Dalias Kitchen

Hello, my name is Dalia and I’m the owner and founder of Dalias Kitchen. Food has always been my passion; local fresh organic produce provides us with the best taste.

I grew up in a farm surrounded by beautiful orchard and fields of vegetables. My dad was the local butcher so we were fortunate enough to be able to enjoy local seasonal produce.

Whether its cooking, baking or chocolate making I love them all when its time for creations.  Cooking for friends and family over the past few years has inspired and encouraged me to start-up my own small business, but I didn’t know how to make it happen.

At the beginning of 2020, I was in the process of changing my job, excited about a continuing my career in different surroundings.  But all the excitement disappeared four days later, when the pandemic began and the UK went into lockdown.

Later in the year, like many others, I was made redundant and it then felt as though this was the right moment to concentrate on Dalias Kitchen.  Being in the kitchen helped me to survive the lockdown and enabled me to stay positive and believe that everything happens for a reason.  This is how Dalias Kitchen started.

On a recent trip to Costa Rica we visited a chocolate plantation, and learnt all about the fine-art of chocolate from bean to bar.

Hope you enjoy looking around the site, at the moment I'm focusing on chocolate truffles, bars, bombs and sweet treats all of these are available to order – just get in touch.

Collection is available from our premises and this saves you the cost of delivery.

Many of the treats are available for nationwide postal delivery. Unfortunately, because of the nature and ingredients of some this may not always be possible.  Just get in touch and we’ll be able to help and advice with any enquiries.

Supporting local farmers

My chocolate supplier and I are proud to support local chocolate farmers and their communities in Ghana.

For every pack of chocolate I purchase, my supplier re-invests working directly with the Cocoa Horizons Foundation. This organisation supports farmers with training and empowers young farmers and women farmers to excel in their craft, while ensuring that the highest environmental and sustainable production is achieved.
